The Role of Women on Agricultural Sector Growth

Purpose: The aim of the study is to examine role women in agricultural sector growth.
 Methodology: This adopted a desktop methodology. used secondary data from which include review existing literature already published studies and reports that was easily accessed through online journals libraries.
 Findings: revealed women's participation cooperatives that, entrepreneurship, access land rights, extension services positively influenced productivity income generation. Cooperative membership entrepreneurship provided with resources, markets, knowledge, leading increased economic gains. Secure rights empowered women, enabling them invest agriculture adopt improved farming practices. Access facilitated dissemination information, technical training, market opportunities, contributing Unique Contribution Theory, Practice Policy: anchored on Agricultural innovation systems theory propounded by Dr. Norman Clark gender development Maxine Molyneux. recommended policymakers should prioritize promoting education, credit facilities. It also strengthening decision-making processes, fostering cooperative networks, ensuring secure tenure are crucial steps toward empowering agriculture.
